PLEASE HELP OUR PROGRAM

Hey everyone! Im looking for an animation artist to collaborate on a children's book about the animals we have here at the rescue.

If you didn't know, we have a Reading Doesn't Stink program we offer to schools,  kids camps and libraries.

We used to be able to give each kid a book. Boomer to the Rescue by Peter Parante. It's a book about a lavender skunk on his first day of school and making new friends. It went great with our program.

Unfortunately,  he only did one run of those books and we are down to our last box. Now we're only able to offer them to each classroom.  And, after those are gone, we're out of books.

So, I was thinking how great it would be to offer a children's book about the animals we have here at the rescue.

One about Teddy and Delilah. One about Timmy and Jimmy (our special needs raccoon and opossum) One about the Prarie Dogs. And one about the squirrels.
That is if the kids enjoy them and we are able to raise enough money for printing.

If they're well liked, we could even consider publishing.

Here's the caveat.  We can't pay for your art unless we are able to publish and sell the books.
I know it's a lot to ask of anyone.  The books may just go to our reading program.  No guarantees of being published.

All I can guarantee is that literally thousands of kids and their parents will see the books. And, appreciate the lessons conveyed within.

I have tons of pictures to base the animation on.  Or, I'm totally open to any creative ideas. The ball is in your court as to being creative with the animation.
If you're at all interested or know of someone that might be, please share this post and contact me.

Thank you all so much for your support over the years.

Our entire rescue is based on the belief the younger you teach kids to be compassionate to animals,  the more empathetic adults they will become.

If you made it this far, we're eternally grateful for your support. Again,  please share this post. We're striving for a kinder world one animal, one child at a time.
Thanks!
